On the morning of Megan + Joe’s wedding, the perfect combination of excitement, love, and hope for the future filled the air. Two souls that crossed paths one fateful day, lead to two families coming together to celebrate their love. The stunning lake wedding took place at A View On West Shores. A venue that speaks for itself. It served as the perfect backdrop to this classic couple.
Before The Ceremony
The morning went by swiftly thanks to the wonderful help of the bride + groom’s wedding party. Their respective parties helped Megan and Joe get ready in their separate suites.
First Looks
As soon as Megan was ready, there was one person she was most excited to see. She walked down the hallways of the lake wedding venue and found her dad. He stood with his back turned, awaiting his signal to turn around. A slight tap on the shoulder and he finally his daughter before him. All the years of raising her had led up to this moment and he could not be more proud.
Megan wore an a-line wedding gown. It had a fitted bodice that had lace wrapped around her back. The skirt of the dress slightly extended out to give the effect of a princess ballgown. For jewelry, the bride wore crystals that made her blue eyes stand out. The crystal hairclip pulled one side of her blonde hair, with the romantic old Hollywood curls.
The Lake Wedding Party’s Ceremony Attire
Once all guests had been seated, the ceremony began playing. A soft layer of music began playing and the wedding party made their way down the aisle. The solid black two-strapped dresses the bridesmaids wore, flew in the lakeshore breeze. The groomsmen that walked beside them wore a matching black suit, with the classic white button-down.
Megan appeared in view of the guests. She floated down the aisle capturing the attention of all of her friends and family. But her eyes were locked on the man at the end of the aisle. Joe stood in front of a circular altar with floral details. He wore also wore a black suit that matched his groomsmen. It had a rose gold tie to top it all off. After exchanging vows and making promises, the two were finally Mr. + Mrs. Price!
A View On West Shores Venue + Decor
When choosing a venue for their special day to take place, Megan and Joe knew A View on West Shores was the perfect spot. The venue has three different venue locations, each with its own defining characteristic. However, there was something about the lakeside views that felt like the right amount of uniqueness about this one.
For the reception, Megan and Joe played on the neutral color scheme of their wedding day. Each table was set with black table linen, greenery, white florals, and candles to fit the romantic atmosphere. Looking up, attendees saw globe lights and white linen draped across the ceiling. As guests seated themselves, they couldn’t help but be in awe of the space.
Reception
The night ended with celebrations of the newly married couple! A night full of the happiest of tears, joy, and of course dancing was the perfect way to start the first chapter of Mr. + Mrs. Price!
