Bio:

I found my passion for music as a Hip Hop dancer really young. I began freestyling at the age of 7 on my own, teaching myself through YouTube videos. I grew up going to a ton of Pop concerts, my first concert being with my dad who took me to see Katy Perry when I was 12. My parents also influenced my passion for music with 70’s/80’s Soul and Soft Rock always being played in the house. Through college, I put aside my passion to focus on school until I realized that I couldn’t live without music and performing. Blending the passions has been such a blessing, and I am always psyched to take on more clients.

Q&A: 

Favorite thing about being a DJ: 

Creating a personalized playlist for each wedding, even the dinner/cocktail hour. I always like to surprise my clients by playing songs that they forgot about or songs that bring them back to their high school years. That, and being part of a moment in time that is unforgettable for couples. It’s priceless.

Favorite part of the night: 

The last hour when the night has built up and the best songs are played. The energy is so fun.

Favorite party songs: 

Anything Hip/Hop or upbeat R&B. I love early 2000’s music produced by Timbaland. T-Pain always sets the tone for a party.

Why did you become a DJ?: 

I really love weddings, and I love to perform. It just felt right. I love learning something new all the time and this job really gives me the opportunity to do so.

Fun fact: 

Basketball was my first love, but peaking at 5 foot 2 unfortunately did not pave the way for a successful basketball career.
