Allison + Bryan’s Brookville, KS Wedding at Kansas Beach

Congratulations Allison & Bryan who officially tied the knot on July 3, 2021!

Venue: Kansas Beach Hospitality & Events

Allison and Bryan had their special day at Kansas Beach Hospitality & Events, which is located in Brookville, KS. Although this beach isn’t located near the ocean, it is just as remote and relaxing. It perfectly combines the feeling of rustic flair as well as the charm that comes with the country. The venue is 5,500 square feet and has a maximum capacity of 350 people. A faux wooden roof overhangs the dance floor along with a beautiful indoor balcony for guests. The 160 arcs of wheat are perfect for sunrise and sunset pictures.

Other items are also included in every reservation.

  • Iron Wheel Chandelier
  • Tables & Chairs
  • 8×8 Stage
  • Dimmable Lights & Edison String Lights
  • Prep-kitchen
  • Children’s Playground
  • Fire Pit
  • WIFI
  • And More!

The venue has a history running back 70 years. The property was originally owned by Roy and Fern Beach and had been passed down to family members until Joe and Geena Kejr purchased it from them in 2016. Together they happily host couples from all over Kansas.

Wedding Ceremony and Reception

The bride and groom got really for the day at separate locations. Allison and her bridesmaids got ready in Ellsworth while Bryan and his groomsmen got ready at Kansas Beach. Natalie Bonilla did everyone’s hair and makeup for the day and Allison’s mother helped her get into her white dress from Accent Bridal and Tux. The men all shared beers after they had tied their bows and buttoned their jackets from Generation Tux.

The couple had an outdoor ceremony on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 pm. Their arbor was adorned with white curtains that blew sweetly with the breeze. Allison’s bouquet was decorated with lace from her mother’s wedding, making the day even more special. Allison and her father shared an emotional hug as he gave her away. They exchanged vows and were pronounced husband and wife. After the ceremony, they went into the Kansas Beach farmhouse to sign their marriage contract, take pictures, and proceeded to the reception.

The guests had a variety of food options along with their meal provided by Hog Wild BBQ. Guests had the option to choose between pretzels, chips, popcorn, and cupcakes! The cupcakes were baked by Mugs Downtown Bohemian Bakery and were a hit with guests! Everyone had a fun night dancing. When the couple exited the venue they were paraded out with a sparkler exit to celebrate July 4th.
