Summer is in full bloom and so is the love Amanda + Robert have for each other. The two recently made it official by tying the knot at their gorgeous wedding at the Lone Summit Ranch. They decided The Ranch’s natural beauty, rustic charm, and peaceful atmosphere were perfect for their celebration of love. Keep scrolling as we take a look at more photos of Amanda + Robert’s magical day.
The Attire
The bridesmaids’ bright, pink bouquets added the right touch of color to their different champagne dresses. The groomsmen’s black suits looked sharp and their ties and boutonnieres tied into the elegant feel of this wedding color scheme. Amanda’s bridal gown was a perfect mix of sophistication and romantic charm. The lace wedding dress with an illusion neckline and lace train matched the vibes of the Lone Summit Ranch’s landscape. Her sparkly shoes, glam necklace, and earrings all complimented her stunning round diamond ring.
The Venue
Little decor was needed for Amanda and Robert’s wedding because of what the Lone Summit Ranch offers. The restored 128-acre farm offers a unique setting for wedding days and special celebrations alike. The venue’s high ceilings and openness allowed for plenty of natural light and space for the couple and their guests to celebrate. The giant “Mr. + Mrs.” light-up sign and greenery background with a neon “Better Together” sign were the perfect photo ops.
The Ceremony
The couple opted for an outdoor ceremony, a perfect choice for their May Kansas City wedding. Modern classical music played as Amanda and Robert were getting ready to say their vows. One of Robert’s daughters walked Amanda down the aisle to “A Thousand Years” the wedding version by Brooklyn Duo. The heartfelt moment touched all their family and friends.
The Reception
The newlyweds made their grand entrance, introduced as Mr. and Mrs. Gear for the first time. After a lovely first dance, the couple wanted to do a family dance with their daughters instead of the traditional father-daughter and mother-son dance. Our photographer Lisa and videographer Curtis couldn’t miss capturing this precious moment.
After some heartfelt toasts and a bite of wedding cake, everyone hit the dance floor with Complete DJ Trenton. While their guests danced the night away, Amanda and Robert snuck away for some final couple portraits. The KC sunset did not disappoint.
