Kathryn and Tyler were your classic high school sweethearts. Tyler, a football player, and Kathryn, a cheerleader started dating their freshman year and all the way through their senior year. When graduation came around, they started their journey of long distance as Tyler signed to play college football five hours away. It was difficult, but it made their love grow stronger. After 6 years of dating, Tyler finally popped the question and of course, Kathryn said Yes! See how their wedding day at the Crystal Ballroom played out below!
The Venue
This wedding took place at the Crystal Ballroom located in St. Augustine Florida. This elegant venue is fully customizable to your wedding details. They handle all of the details including design and decorations, food and beverages, and everything in between.
The Wedding Party
The wedding party consisted of four bridesmaids, four groomsmen, two flower girls, and a ring bearer. The bridesmaids wore long light blue dresses and the groomsmen wore navy tuxes with light blue bow ties and pocket squares and light brown shoes. The two flower girls wore matching white dresses with silver glittery flats and the ring bearer wore an outfit similar to the groomsmen.
The Ceremony
At 11:00 AM, guests found their seats in the Crystal Ballroom, and the ceremony began. Two by two the bridesmaids and groomsmen made their way down the aisle, followed by the ring bearer and flower girls. Finally, it was time for the beautiful bride to make her grand entrance. She was escorted down the aisle by her father. The bride and groom said their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the deal with a kiss.
The Reception
The wedding reception also took place at the Crystal Ballroom. The guests enjoyed food, drinks, and dancing. The newlyweds shared their first dance and then they cut the cake. After toasts were made, everyone got out on the dance floor and let loose!
