Sara grew up in St. Augustine and went on to get her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Florida State University. Upon graduation, she started working in the hospitality industry where she remained for nine years prior to starting her own wedding and event planning company. She accepted the position as the Wedding and Special Events Director at The Palencia Golf and Country Club where she worked for 5 years. There Sara developed, and worked alongside, her banquet team, executing beautiful weddings and other special social and corporate events. She loves taking the couples’ vision for their “perfect” wedding and turning that into reality. “There is no detail too big or too small when it comes to a special event, and I want to assure our clients that we care enough about them to want their experience to be worry-free, and just what they expected, if not more. I want them to remember every detail and every person that made their day so special.”
I was a Complete Wedding + Events bride, and I was so impressed by how well my wedding day went, and how well the Complete team performed – I knew that I wanted to be a part of the wedding industry. And here I am! I love being able to actively listen to a couple’s vision of their big day, take their hands, and guide them down different paths of possibilities and ideas that could complete their vision for their dream wedding. I take pride in knowing that they are at ease, making decisions without pressure or regret. Being organized is based upon experience, communication, and collaboration with clients. I am always a team player with other vendors, and use teamwork to make events a meaningful, fun, and memorable experience. At the end of the day, I just want you to be thrilled with your event, regardless of size or location, and to take home the memories of how it all finally came together. I want you to be able to say to yourself that we all had an AMAZING time.
While I have a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, and have enjoyed my time with one of the nations’ choice hotels, I love the wedding and special event portion of my activities. I am very passionate about the wedding industry and creating memorable experiences for my clients, whether it is at a rural barn, or a resort hotel. There is nothing more special than witnessing the genuine feelings of excitement and happiness on a bride and grooms’ face, as they see their wedding day come together. As a Coordinator, I am a big advocate of teamwork, communication, cooperation, and planning. I know our team always brings their best, to make sure the couple’s families and friends have an unforgettable experience. Success, for me, is in hearing the guests say things like. “You had a beautiful wedding, and we had so much fun! It is personally satisfying to know that what I do for a couple, adds to everyone else’s wish for them to have the best day of their lives, and from that day forward, to have a life of happiness and joy! What could be better?
