A New Chapter for Jennifer + James in Jacksonville

10.21.21

When you look at Jennifer + James, you can’t help but feel the love between the two of them. Whenever Jennifer looks at him, she can’t help but smile from ear to ear. And he does the same, knowing that she’s wearing the smile because of him. The journey that life threw at them to finally find each other, was completely worth it! It wasn’t long after they started dating, that James popped the question. As they say, when you know, you know!

Their wedding day finally came in late summer. Jennifer + James picked a fitting theme for the changing season. A charming rustic scene was created through thoughtful placements of sunflowers, mason jars, and burlap material. The sunflower set the tone for the color scheme, which included yellow, peach, and orange. These were the colors also found in the bride and bridesmaids’ bouquets.

Getting Ready

The girls got ready for the day’s festivities in style by wearing satin robes. The bridesmaids wore black robes with gold lettering on the back. Jennifer wore white, but also tied into the girls’ robes with the gold lettering as well. For hair, Jennifer had tousled curls that were styled into a half-up, half-down look.

The Dress

Jennifer’s dress was a lace lover’s dream. From head to toe, the entire dress was draped in lace fabric. It followed the shape of a sheath-type dress, but the back extended out into a trail that followed her everywhere she walked. The front of the dress mimicked the back, as the lace created a v-cut down the middle. The sleeves of the dress went along with the free-flow theme of the wedding. They were bell-sleeved! All coming together to create an effortless look for the bride.

Ceremony Attire

As golden hour began, it signaled the ceremony to start. Music began playing as silence fell among the guests. The ring bearer walked down the aisle with a bridesmaid beside him. He wore khaki pants held up by matching brown suspenders. Underneath was a white button-down shirt. Topped with a cool pair of reflected sunglasses.

Bridesmaids

The bridesmaids all wore varying shades of yellow, that when put together, looked like a sunset. One wore a peach-colored off-the-shoulder floor-length dress, the other wore a yellow dress in a similar style.

When Jennifer finally made her way down the aisle, she met her other half at the altar. Vows were exchanged expressing their eternal love for each other. Leading up to their kiss to seal their “I do’s”. Their son immediately ran to them to express the joy he felt seeing his two favorite people finally get married!

Celebrations continued as the wedding party and guests walked into the reception area. Toasts and speeches were made. Exciting games were also played, and the newly married couple welcomed their new chapter in their love story.
