Wedding at Dappled Willow | Jessica + Dagan

Wedding at Dappled Willow | Jessica + Dagan

Some wedding venues give you one beautiful space. Dappled Willow gives you an entire farmstead to work with! Jessica + Dagan’s wedding brought together a celebration that moved seamlessly from an outdoor ceremony to a barn reception. With everything happening in one location, the 12-acre property gave their wedding plenty of room to unfold.

A Little Blue Goes a Long Way!

Jessica wore a strapless ballgown with a sweetheart neckline and beading across the bodice. Her bouquet combined white and light blue flowers with a touch of greenery, while her bridesmaids wore different light blue dress styles and carried matching bouquets. Dagan complemented the color palette in a navy suit, a patterned blue tie, a light blue pocket square, and a white rose boutonniere. His groomsmen wore dark gray suits with light blue ties and pocket squares.

Using one color across different dress styles is an easy way to give your wedding party some variety while keeping the overall look connected. The same idea can work with accessories, too, as Jessica + Dagan showed with their coordinated blue ties, pocket squares, and bouquets.

From “I Do” to Reception Without Leaving the Farm

The wedding at Dappled Willow included both the ceremony and reception, making the 12-acre farmstead the backdrop for the entire celebration. Their outdoor ceremony took place beneath a wooden arbor with 28 benches for guests, followed by a reception inside the all-wood post and beam barn.

There is plenty more to explore around the property, including a smaller barn with the bar, a restored 1905 farmhouse, and a 19th-century log cabin. The reception barn can accommodate up to 225 guests and includes a loft with additional seating and a window overlooking the ceremony site. Keeping both events onsite also means one less location to coordinate between when building your timeline!

The Complete Team Behind the Moments

Amelia photographed the wedding at Dappled Willow for Complete Weddings + Events, while William captured the big, small, and in-between moments on video. Travis kept the music going as the DJ for both the ceremony and reception, giving the celebration one team to handle sound and music from start to finish.

Having multiple wedding services through Complete Weddings + Events Indianapolis also means those vendors are already part of the same team. Photography, videography, and DJ services can communicate around the timeline and coordinate their coverage, while the Dappled Willow team handles the venue. That connection can make those little transitions much easier to manage!

Why the Vendor Team Matters

A wedding at Dappled Willow has several natural transitions built into the venue, from the outdoor ceremony to cocktail hour and the reception barn. Having vendors who communicate with each other helps everyone stay on the same page as those moments happen.

For couples planning their own celebration, this is one place where your vendor choices can make a practical difference. With Complete Weddings + Events providing multiple services and Dappled Willow’s experienced venue team working alongside them, there are fewer separate teams to coordinate throughout the celebration.
