Meet Alex, the Lead Wedding Coordinator at Complete Weddings + Events and the ultimate go-to for creating unforgettable wedding days.
Alex’s love for weddings started during her college years at Northern Michigan University, where she worked for a wedding planner and fell in love with the magic of turning dreams into reality. After graduating, she moved to Grand Rapids and joined the Complete Weddings + Events team; and over the past five years, she’s grown into her roles as Sales and Office Manager and a certified wedding coordinator.
In 2023, Alex tied the knot with her amazing husband, Dan, and together they recently bought their first home, complete with a dream backyard for their beloved fur baby, Boots. When she’s not coordinating weddings, Alex channels her creativity into Project Perfection, her own decoration company that helps couples add that extra touch of magic to their big day.
Alex’s favorite part of weddings is making sure each couple’s day is as perfect and stress-free as possible. With her passion for design and her knack for organization, she’s ready to bring joy, beauty, and a little sparkle to every celebration she’s part of.
Meet Patti, one of the friendly faces behind the magic at Complete Weddings + Events! Patti’s wedding journey began in 2010 when she landed an internship with a Catering and Event Planning company in New York City. It only took one summer for her to fall in love with the joy, excitement, and beauty of weddings—and she’s been hooked ever since!
When she’s not crafting unforgettable wedding days, Patti is busy being a superhero mom to her four amazing kids, whom she also homeschools. Whether she’s planning timelines or lesson plans, Patti brings her signature mix of creativity and organization to everything she does.
In her downtime, you’ll find her camping with her family, savoring sushi (her ultimate treat!), or battling it out during epic board game nights.
Patti can’t wait to bring her passion, creativity, and heart to your wedding, making sure it’s a day you’ll always remember!

"Alex, was on top of things from the day we started emailing with her. Then she became our Day of Coordinator and she was absolutely lovely. Alex took care of any and every need that we had, even ones we didn't know would arise. She took a lot off of our plates as we were very busy with rotations and graduating. "Alex, our day-of coordinator, was a blessing. My husband and I are both very laid-back people with very few demands, but that also means that we didn't consider a LOT of things that go into a wedding. We had a lot of anxiety going in because we didn't know what was expected of us, and we didn't have much of a guiding plan beyond color schemes and a few things we wanted. Alex helped guide us through the process with a few conversations. Very casual, very informative, and VERY reassuring, Alex was easy to bounce ideas off of, and I never felt like I was bothering her when I had questions or concerns. She was instrumental in coordinating our vendors who were outside COMPLETE, and with her help, the day went by so incredibly smoothly!"
