This month, when you reserve Complete Weddings + Events for DJ, photography, videography, uplighting or photo booth, 3% of your package goes to an important cause. I promise this is something worth partying for!
3% of Your Purchase is Donated
Every year, we dedicate one month to donate 3% of our bookings to our Do Good Together initiative. Your deposit this months guarantees a portion of the services you book with us goes towards this initiative to provide basic needs in a developing country. We have partnered with Global Partners in Hope (GPiH), to build clean water wells in remote areas of Mali and Togo, West Africa. Also, we have helped fund the construction of a medical center. Last year alone, we raised $40,000 with the help of Complete staff, customers, and vendor partners, and we’ve raised over $135,000 total since we started the initiative!
2019 Fundraising Initiative Goal and Projects
This fall, our goal is to raise $50,000 for the Do Good Together initiative. The proceeds will go towards providing medicine and supplies to get the medical center up and running next year.
After funding five water wells in West Africa, we began raising money to build both the neonatal and women’s recovery rooms as a part of a $3.2 million medical center. Also, our wedding industry partners nationwide have joined in to help accomplish our goals. Therefore, we are thrilled to announce the needed funds have been raised and the medical center construction is nearly completed! The project is set to be completed in January 2020.
In addition, we have sent our team members to Togo to meet the families, women, and children being impacted by these efforts. We have seen lives change from the wells providing clean water. It’s amazing how this has impacted thousands of people in the area. Our teams have seen how a medical center will be a huge benefit to women and children in the area.
