How Josh and Skyler Met
Josh and Skyler met at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine in 2010. This is where they shared an immediate connection. During their four years at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine, they continued to build a strong connection through mutual friends, sports and attending classes together. It was not until 3 months after college when Josh and Skyler’s paths crossed again. They became co-workers and roommates in New Hampshire; within a year they were dating.
The Proposal
On November 14, 2020, Josh proposed to Skyler in their new South Florida home after she passed her state licensing exam for Social Work. Josh and Skyler decided they wanted to have their wedding exactly one year from their engagement at the Beachcomber Resort in Pompano Beach, Florida. They loved the ambiance of the Beachcomber Resort with oceanfront views. The venue has a relaxing atmosphere and their pleasant event coordinator, Lynn helped make the decision an easy one. When walking around the resort they easily envisioned themselves celebrating their marriage with all of their loved ones. Josh and Skylar could not pass up the opportunity to reserve their wedding date.
