Billie + Jared are the epitomai of “a couple that laughs together, stays together.” Their relationship is full of goofy moments, but most importantly, love. The combination of the two made it an easy decision when choosing to spend the rest of their lives together. Here is how their North Dakota wedding day took place at the Alerus Center!
The day of Billie + Jared’s dreams had finally come! First thing was first, the wedding party had to get ready for the exciting day ahead. The bridesmaids and groomsmen split up into their separate suites.
To represent that unity in being there for the bride, the bridesmaids all wore the same mint blue dress. It was a sheath-shaped dress with a unique one-sleeve cut. The bridesmaids pulled the look together by wearing droplet earrings.
The maid of honor stood out in a complementary mauve dress. It was also a sheath-shaped dress, however, the bodice was different from the bridesmaids. She had lace detailing and the front was in a v-cut.
On the other side of the wall were the groomsmen. They all wore similar looks of khaki pants held up by brown suspender straps. They tied it all together with a classic white button-down. To play off the mint blue the bridal party wore, the groomsmen wore the same color on their ties.
With everyone ready to walk down the aisle, the ceremony was ready to begin!
Guests entered the Calvary Lutheran Church ready to witness the uniting of two souls. The crowd was hushed as the ceremony began. Two by two, the wedding party made its way down the aisle. As everyone prepared themselves for a wave of emotions for when the bride would walk down the aisle, a surprise came. The doors opened to a man wearing denim jeans, a black button-down, reflective sunglasses, and an eye-catching fanny pack. Inside the fanny pack were flower petals. Yes, he was the flower man. He made his way flicking petals left and right, leaving a path for Billie to walk down.
After the sweet surprise, it was finally time for the bride to make her way down the aisle. The Calvary Church doors swung open to reveal Billie. She wore a head-to-toe lace dress. The lace went all throughout the dress, up until the bodice. Around her chest was mesh fabric that was lined by the lace around the collar. The back of the dress mimicked the front in that it also had mesh, and lace detailing. It also had buttons that ran down along her dress. Billie also wore a cathedral-length veil that made a statement as she floated her way to the altar.
At the end of the altar, she met her soon-to-be husband Jared. Finally, the moment they had been planning for months on end. They were finally saying their I dos.
After the ceremony, everyone was ready to celebrate! The party continued on at the Alerus Center. It was beautifully decorated with the wedding’s theme. Pastel versions of pink, blue, and white roses are scattered throughout the venue in different moments. The most memorable was the three-tier cake. It was decorated with pink roses in different shades. Perhaps another reason why it was so memorable is that the cake cutting ceremony ended with frosting smeared all over the bride + groom’s face!
It was definitely a great way to set the tone for the future laughs that Billie + Jared are sure to enjoy in the rest of their marriage. They ended the night with a stunning send-off that included sparklers, a dip into a kiss, and Billie being whisked away into the night! Congratulations to the newly wedded couple! We wish you all the luck and success in your marriage.
