Duluth Rose Garden, part of Leif Erikson Park, spans 4.5 acres at the base of 13th Avenue East. It’s accessible from the Lakewalk and showcases over 3,000 rose bushes, various plants, and stunning garden features. Highlights include the Leif Erikson statue, Stone Memorial Fountain, and a gazebo perfect for weddings. This park can host intimate weddings of up to 150 guests. Things to Know About Planning a Wedding at the Duluth Rose Garden
There is no fee to visit the park. First, it is a public location most of the time you will have respect and privacy but there are things to think about. One is that this is the only public bathroom in the city that we are aware of. Permanent restrooms are open for the season. While it is well maintained sometimes you can get uninvited guests. To make this a successful event please be aware you will need to rent chairs for guests. Also, be aware this location has no covering for guests or wedding parties so all are exposed to nature and elements. If you have more than a few guests another thing to be aware of is needing a sound system with a microphone and speaker. This way all guests can understand what is going on and enjoy this experience with you.
