I became a videographer by complete accident. One day some of my friends who made music wanted to create a skit and we needed somebody to shoot it. I don’t like being in front of a camera so, naturally, I had to shoot it. That was 6 years ago. From then on I realized I love capturing moments that people love and cherish.

My uncle wanted to get married in the Dominican Republic and asked me to record and document it for him for 4 days. It was amazing to capture that moment for him and even greater to capture something like that for my family. 

I just love capturing moments for people that they hold valuable to them. Whether it be a picture or a video, being able to make a memory of something they loved become something that they can not only remember, but also see, is my favorite thing.

I think I have an irregular style. I wouldn’t say it is always the “right way” of doing things, but it is my way. I come from a music/events background, so I developed my style in a way that wasn’t clinical. My colors are a bit more punchy, contrasty. My edits are more loud than subtle. I enjoy trying things. One day I am at a wedding, the next day I am doing a real estate shoot, then the day after that I am working with a local artist. 

I love the speeches. It is just something about that moment where a loved one is talking and then you hear that inevitable voice crack as they try to fight back their tears.
