Why did you decide to become a videographer?

I discovered my passion for working with a camera at a young age. For my 12th birthday, I asked for a digital camera and took it with me everywhere, capturing anything I could. As I got older, I became fascinated with movies and found myself constantly trying to figure out how certain scenes were filmed—I was drawn to the production side of storytelling.

When I got to college and realized I could major in communications with a focus on camera work, everything clicked. I never looked back and fully committed to becoming a videographer. That passion turned into a profession when I was asked to film the wedding of a friend’s older sibling. Since then, I’ve proudly worked as a wedding videographer, combining my love for visual storytelling with one of life’s most meaningful moments.

What is your favorite memory from an event you’ve shot?

One of the most memorable weddings I filmed last year was with a couple who were, without a doubt, the sweetest and most easygoing people I’ve ever worked with. During a rare moment of downtime that evening, we sat and talked for what felt like hours. It was one of those unexpected, genuine connections that made the whole experience even more special. Our relationship didn’t end when the wedding did—we’ve kept in touch, and they’ve continued to support my work, often engaging with the wedding posts I share on social media. Their warmth and encouragement played a big role in deepening my passion for wedding videography. They helped me truly understand the importance and emotional weight of what I do: capturing the moments that matter most.

What is your favorite thing about being a videographer?

Being part of so many days that mark the most important moments in people’s lives is incredibly meaningful to me. Knowing that I am making something that will be enjoyed years down the road, is very important to me. I feel truly fortunate to do what I do—to capture love, emotion, and memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.

What makes you or your work unique/stand out?

What I believe sets me apart is my story-first approach. For me, wedding videography isn’t just about pointing a camera—it’s about capturing the emotional essence of the day. I focus on understanding the couple’s story and what they truly mean to each other. That connection is what allows me to create a film that feels personal, meaningful, and uniquely theirs.

What is your favorite part of the night?

For me, the most powerful moment to capture is always the bride’s first look—whether it’s with her bridesmaids, her parents, or her soon-to-be husband. There’s something incredibly pure and emotionally charged about that moment. It’s when the day suddenly feels real for them, and the significance of everything truly sinks in. Being able to preserve that feeling on film is something I never take for granted.
