How would you describe your "DJ Personality?"

I would say I kind of have a puzzle piece personality/style. I try to supplement whatever room I walk into and make it a better place. Music-wise I’ve always listened to a plethora of different genres so it makes it easier to collaborate with couples for the perfect playlist.

What is your favorite memory as a DJ?

My favorite memory as a DJ was a certain wedding, where the bride took time to make a toast to everyone including the vendors, DJ, family and friends, and everyone, and she dedicated her bouquet to her mother. It was a very memorable speech and moment.

What is your favorite thing about being a DJ?

My favorite thing as a DJ is playing that certain song that has been requested or anticipated that makes the room light up and brings a smile to people’s face- just being a component in helping make memories is something I’m super proud of.

What makes you unique/stand out as a DJ?

Aside from my head of half blonde locs, I think I set myself apart by just being myself and not trying to be someone I’m not. I’ve always been able to conversate and operate in a room of any and everybody. I think my specialty as a DJ is being able to read the room and play the song that the room needs to hear.

When it comes to weddings and receptions, what it your favorite part of the night and WHY?

My favorite part of the night is always either introductions because I’m able to see every couples’ creativity and personality, or the opening of the dance floor when everyone is most likely to dance.

What is your favorite party song to play at events?

My favorite party song is Squabble Up- Kendrick Lamar

Why did you decide to become a DJ?

I became a DJ because I love that it pushes me out of my comfort zone personally. But I love that it makes me use all of my skills to come together to make a couples’ special day.
