Eric K.

I was raised in Baton Rouge and graduated in Film and Media at LSU!  I have 6 years of experience in filmmaking, but fell in love with cameras when I got my hands on a VHS Camcorder in the late 90s (I was about 5-6 years old). From that moment on, all of my favorite things were media-based. As I got older, technology allowed me to try out newer, faster, and better quality cameras. When I was in the 5th grade, video sharing sites became popular and I was given the blueprint of what could be accomplished through video. All these years later I still love everything about video producing that I did when it was brand new to me.

When I’m not filming weddings I enjoy making short films, playing guitar, and writing/recording music with my band. It may be quirky, but I’m also very nerdy about archiving memories through photos and videos.  This passion translates seamlessly within creating wedding films. It is an honor and a privilege for me to capture one of the most important days of a couple’s love story. I understand that being in front of a camera isn’t something everyone is used to. Part of my job is to incorporate your comfort level into how we shoot your day . My number one goal to make sure your story gets told well while you are actively enjoying your day. If you want staged cinematic shots to stand out for your SIGNATURE Video, let’s do it! If you’d rather not worry about any of the shots, I’ll make that work too! One of my biggest philosophies on wedding videos is that they not only celebrate you, but also your friends and family in your life. Over time, these videos will also serve as a time capsule. THIS is super important to me!! I have so many memories of my parents laughing while watching their video featuring their old friends and family. I take this into account when I am filming and editing. One of my favorite things as a wedding videographer is the spontaneous nature of guests during a reception. I will walk on the dance floor and catch the details of a someone who is doing something cool, funny, or borderline outrageous. I am always on the lookout for something that is worth filming during a reception.

Complete Weddings + Events has the benefit of having multiple services you can book from, and our staff really is a team. If you book more than one service through us, you will have multiple people in coordination on what needs to be happening at what time. I’m proud to be a part of our video team, and we are constantly inspiring each other to create the best work we can.
