Meet Jordan L., one of our talented photographers who brings passion, heart, and years of experience to every wedding she captures. Originally born in Texas and raised in Walker, Louisiana, Jordan’s love for photography began during the MySpace era when she was the friend who always had a digital Sony Cybershot camera in hand, documenting high school adventures and capturing memories with friends.

After getting married and starting a family, Jordan’s journey as a photographer reignited during the COVID lockdown when her husband gifted her a new camera. With extra time on her hands, she started sharing family photos online, and soon people began reaching out, requesting her to photograph their special moments. A chance engagement session led her into the wedding industry, and despite initial nerves, her talent and passion shone through—earning her a trusted place behind the camera at countless weddings.

We were fortunate to meet Jordan at weddings and events over the years, and after witnessing her incredible work and warm, professional demeanor, we knew she had to join our team. Her approach to photography is true-to-life and emotive, capturing colors and moments as authentically as possible. She blends traditional techniques with an eye for heartfelt emotions to create timeless images.

One of Jordan’s favorite parts of being in the wedding industry is experiencing the love and joy that fills the air on a couple’s special day. She especially loves photographing first looks—whether it’s between the couple, a bride and her dad, or a heartfelt moment with bridesmaids. Those raw, emotional reactions are her specialty. And of course, she always looks forward to the father-daughter dances and cake time!

One of her favorite memories as a wedding photographer was capturing a future married couple’s first dance the night they met at a mutual friend’s wedding. Now, they are engaged and preparing to get married—and Jordan will be their photographer. How cool is that!
