Meet Fate W., the Baton Rouge-born dynamo whose journey from stepping in the marching band in Louisiana to the pulsating beats of the DJ booth is as eclectic as the mixes he spins.
Before Fate found his rhythm behind the decks, he was immersed in the world of engineering. Armed with a degree from Southern University in electrical engineering, Fate delved into industrial engineering for a decade. However, Fate’s knack for forging connections and his passion for communication led him to explore the realm of real estate, where he now flourishes as a skilled agent and investor.
But Fate’s story doesn’t stop there. With a background steeped in the melodies of marching bands, Fate’s love for music runs deep. From mastering the baritone trombone to leading as drum major, Fate’s musical prowess laid the foundation for his future in the DJ scene.
In 2019, Fate embarked on a new chapter, tying the knot in his beloved Baton Rouge. Celebrating his union at Stage One near South Harrells Ferry, Fate’s first dance resonated with the soulful tune of Love of My Life by Brian McKnight, marking the beginning of a harmonious journey with his wife.
As Fate expanded his horizons into real estate, he sought a creative outlet to complement his career. Serendipity struck when he discovered the world of DJing, and it was a match made in musical heaven. Fate’s infectious energy behind the turntables electrifies the dance floor, with his favorite moments unfolding after the first dances, where he thrives on igniting the crowd with crowd-pleasers like “Wobble.”
Not content with merely orchestrating the beats, Fate isn’t afraid to hit the dance floor himself, leading by example as he moves to the rhythm he crafts. Beyond the DJ booth, Fate’s passion for storytelling extends to the screen, earning him the title of a true movie buff.
