My favorite thing about being a DJ is the uniqueness of each experience. I take pride in the memories I know I’m helping to create as a result of doing what I love.

Why did you become a DJ?:
I became a DJ to challenge myself in a new experience. It only took me one time to touch the system and I have been hooked ever since. I knew for sure this is what I wanted to do.

Why did you become a DJ?:
Playing music for people has always been a passion of mine. Music is a roller coaster and taking people on that ride is the most challenging and rewarding part of my job.
Fun fact: I don’t actually have a middle name, but no one ever believes me. So, my middle initial has been “F” for over a decade and whenever anyone asks what it stands for I come up with a different answer every time. It’s more fun this way.
Marty is an old soul, with new school skills. He is a lover of the arts and in shows in his work as a DJ. His knowledge for music goes well beyond his years. You’ll never see him without a smile on his face and can overcome any obstacle that can be thrown at him. Very few out there, if any, can keep up Marty’s energy.

Favorite thing about being a DJ: Having the opportunity to be a part of a couples wedding day and bring the life to the party and keep the energy and excitement up. It is an honor to be able to share this day with people and hopefully build memories that will be talked about at your family events for years to come.
Favorite part of the night: My favorite part of the night is when the dance lights turn on and the opening dance song gets played and everyone gets to come to the dance floor. It’s always fun to watch families get to laugh and enjoy each other on the dance floor. There is nothing better than stringing together a couple of hit songs and seeing the entire floor singing and having a good time.
Favorite party songs: You have to enjoy some of the classics like Whitney’s “I wanna dance with somebody”, and some others like Outkast “Hey Ya”, Nelly “Hot in Here”, and people go crazy with “Mr. Brightside” from the Killers.
Why did you become a DJ?: I have always wanted to become a DJ. There is something I enjoy about picking the next song and watching the crowd recognize the song. Seeing the different reactions and reading the crowd to know what music they like and enjoy is part of the challenge and excitement.
Fun fact: In 2016 Mozart sold more CD’s than Beyonce, Adele, and Drake even though those 3 artists had Grammy winning hits that year.
Jake is our trainer and an exciting DJ! A down-to-earth guy that just cares! He dots the i’s and crosses the t’s. He is very talented musically and it comes across in his music selection. He is always looking for ways to make each event special and not like any he has done before!
Bio:
I found my passion for music as a Hip Hop dancer really young. I began freestyling at the age of 7 on my own, teaching myself through YouTube videos. I grew up going to a ton of Pop concerts, my first concert being with my dad who took me to see Katy Perry when I was 12. My parents also influenced my passion for music with 70’s/80’s Soul and Soft Rock always being played in the house. Through college, I put aside my passion to focus on school until I realized that I couldn’t live without music and performing. Blending the passions has been such a blessing, and I am always psyched to take on more clients.

Favorite thing about being a DJ:
Creating a personalized playlist for each wedding, even the dinner/cocktail hour. I always like to surprise my clients by playing songs that they forgot about or songs that bring them back to their high school years. That, and being part of a moment in time that is unforgettable for couples. It’s priceless.

The last hour when the night has built up and the best songs are played. The energy is so fun.

Anything Hip/Hop or upbeat R&B. I love early 2000’s music produced by Timbaland. T-Pain always sets the tone for a party.
Why did you become a DJ?:
I really love weddings, and I love to perform. It just felt right. I love learning something new all the time and this job really gives me the opportunity to do so.

Basketball was my first love, but peaking at 5 foot 2 unfortunately did not pave the way for a successful basketball career.
Bio:
Hey, I’m Alec, a DJ for Complete Weddings + Events. I’m going into my second year with the company. Music is my biggest passion and always has been since I was a teenager. I make a lot of my own music outside of being a wedding/event DJ – mostly ambient/electronic music. I like pretty much all genres of music. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, doing yoga, meditating, hiking, reading, listening to music, and being outdoors.

Joel is our senior DJ on staff. Highly requested and full of energy! He strives to not only take care of the newlyweds at each event, but also makes sure the parents of the newlyweds and wedding party are also receiving the special treatment they deserve as well! Being a father-of-the-bride himself, he prides himself on making sure his customers are as happy as his daughter was on her wedding day! His special attention to YOUR vision is what sets him apart and it’s his goal to bring that vision into reality for everyone he serves.
