I think what makes me stand out is that I genuinely love people. I’m not just there to take photos or videos; I really want to get to know my couples, make them feel comfortable, and be someone they can trust throughout the whole process. I’m a laid-back and personable guy, and I think that helps people relax and actually enjoy being in front of the camera. At the end of the day, I want to capture timeless moments that are filled with nostalgia.

You can find me somewhere near the water with no real plan. I love the beach, finding new places to eat or explore, taking my motorcycle out for a ride, and enjoy the weather. Wilmington is such a cool place because you can have a slow beach day and then turn around and find something completely new and exciting. I’m always down for a little adventure.

The moments that happen when nobody realizes they’re happening. I love the big moments, but there’s something special about a groom seeing his bride for the first time, parents getting emotional, or a couple laughing together five minutes after the ceremony when it finally hits them that they’re married. Those little moments are usually the ones people end up cherishing the most. But most important for me is the ceremony kiss!

I’m a big believer in being prepared, so my camera bag usually has some random little item that has absolutely nothing to do with cameras but somehow ends up saving the day. Whether it’s a flashlight, Polaroids or something to fix a random wedding-day emergency, I like being the guy who can say, “I’ve got you.”
