This past October Teresa & Willie hosted their wedding at The Barn at Cricket Creek. Despite the challenges of COVID the couple was excited to finally get to share in their joy with family and friends! The ceremony took place outside in a field next to the barn that overlooked the scenic Ozark Mountains. Afterward, the couple and their guests embraced the beautiful fall weather by celebrating with an indoor/ outdoor wedding reception.
The Barn at Cricket Creek
The Barn at Cricket Creek is a 75-year-old barn with a vintage elegant feel. They are nestled in the Ozark Mountains with spectacular views and sunsets. Their venue package is for up to 150 guests. The Barn at Cricket Creek is unique in that we are truly all-inclusive with tables, chairs, games, and a room filled with decor and floral for free! Their packages range from $1,000-$1,500 depending on the wedding day. They have a cabin that is used for the bridal suite and is also available for honeymooning. The owners Jon and Michelle are on-site for guidance and to lend a helping hand whenever needed.
When chatting with Michelle about why they wanted to open a venue and what made The Barn at Cricket Creek different this is what she had to say, “Jon and I felt there was a need for a beautiful all-inclusive venue that was truly affordable. We have 8 grown children and have had our fair share of experiences with weddings. We feel our venue is unique in that our venue is also very family-oriented with a fire pit for s’mores, a swing set, and a fun barrel train ride for the kiddos to enjoy while the adults celebrate. I think Jon loves entertaining the kiddos as much as I enjoy helping decorate. We really have fun with our couples.”
