What is your favorite memory from an event you’ve shot?

My favorite memory from an event I shot was when I caught a moment the bride and groom didn’t realize happened. It was pouring down rain and I caught a shot of the groom grabbing the bride’s hand and rushing her across the rain to get under a canopy. Being given the opportunity to catch moments we take for granted is my favorite part. 

What is your favorite thing about being a photographer?

I love being able to capture the tone of an event. Every wedding and event is so very different. The different ways people celebrate their love is amazing. I get to tell the story of what it was like to be at their wedding in through photos. That is tremendously fulfilling in and of itself.

What makes you or your work unique/stand out?

I try to shoot weddings in a style that encapsulates the feeling of the wedding. I picture how the end result will show what it was like to be there in the moment. Most importantly I get shots that help build their story.

What is your favorite part of the event?

My favorite part of the events are the bridal party pictures. Seeing how the bridal party vibes is a big part of understanding the feeling of the wedding.

List one fun fact about you most people do not know:

I unofficially held the beer-half-marathon world record(: I’m a three-time monopoly champion and absolute unit on the basketball court.
