On a late August afternoon, clear skies were abundant, feelings of excitement and love were all in the air. Taylor + Jacob were finally tying the knot! The couple had spent months on end, creating a perfectly intimate wedding with their closest friends and family at The Court Above Main. The day was finally here to celebrate the love between the bride and groom.
Getting Ready
The afternoon started with the wedding party getting ready for the night ahead. The bridesmaids and groomsmen split off into their designated suites.
Bridesmaids
As the bridesmaids entered their suite, they were welcomed to tall glasses of mimosas. To continue setting the tone, Taylor gifted her bridesmaids with matching sets of pink silk jammies. The set came with a short-sleeved button-down top, along with matching shorts. The bridesmaids got ready together, while also making sure the bride was ready for the night ahead. Once makeup and hair were done, they were ready to slip into their dresses. Each bridesmaid wore a taupe floor-length dress that flattered each of them in different ways.
Groomsmen
On the other side of the hall, the groomsmen also got ready in a similar fashion. They were greeted with beers that they each continued to sip on as they got ready. Each groomsman wore a classic black suit (black vest and tie with a white button-down). A sense of togetherness was felt throughout the room as they helped each other in putting together the final look.
With the wedding party all dressed and ready, the ceremony was ready to begin.
Ceremony
Guests each came into The Court Above Main and took their seats. They all faced the linen-lined windows. In front of the windows was a stunning altar made for the bride and groom. Music began playing to signal the wedding party to make their way down the aisle.
The Bride
Taylor stepped out into the ceremony space in her cowgirl boots while capturing the attention of every guest. The dress she wore was an a-line style dress with a long train. She wore long sleeves with floral lace that extended out onto the bodice and into the skirt of the dress. To complement the romantic feeling of the dress, Taylor had her hair put into tousled curls. These curls were then put into a low bun and some pieces left out to frame her face.
Taylor met Jacob at the altar and all the memories that lead to this moment flashed through her mind. Finally, the two were sealing their love through marriage. After vows, the two were finally ready. A kiss to begin the next chapter of their lives!
Reception
After the ceremony, the guests went into the reception area. Here, there was a head table set up for all the family and friends to gather around. Taylor + Jacob’s love was celebrated through toasts, speeches, and of course a first dance. To end the night, a joyous sparkler tunnel sent the couple off!
