On a late summer afternoon, LeeAnna + Cameron were getting ready for the night of their lives. This was the day they were going to make things official… as husband and wife! After months on end of planning, they had finally reached their goal. There it was, just moments away. The moment where they would seal their love with a kiss. But we’re rushing into things. Let’s start at the beginning of their day.
Getting Ready
The Bride
LeeAnna took the first part of her afternoon to get ready with her bridesmaids. She had envisioned herself looking like the fairytale princess of her dreams, and took the steps to achieve it! To bring this idea to life, LeeAnna went for a floor-length a-line-shaped wedding dress. The top half of the dress was fitted to her body with a floral lace pattern. The leaves of this floral lace cascaded down into the skirt of the dress. This was also made with layers of soft tulle.
The Bridesmaids
LeeAnna’s bridesmaids were the perfect helpers for this fairytale princess. They each wore a knee-length mauve dress. The dresses were a-line shaped as well. However, each had different cuts on the bodice. The unique cuts made sure to flatter the bridesmaids’ bodies in the best way. For hair, they wore it in an updo, pulling hair out of their faces to make sure it never got in the way of helping out the lady of the hour.
Letters to LeeAnna + Cameron
Once the wedding party was ready, it was time for the bride and groom to read their letters to each other. LeeAnna + Cameron had each taken their time to write love letters addressed to both of them. This was a way for them to interact before their ceremony and express the love they had. It was also a way for them to hear their voices, without actually being able to see each other. That of course, was being saved for the moment LeeAnna would walk down the aisle.
Ceremony
Steeplechase Event Center
LeeAnna stepped out into the Steeplechase outdoor ceremony space to meet the love of her life at the end of the altar. The Steeplechase Event Center has breathtaking views of mountains and forest area behind their ceremony. Making the perfect backdrop for a wedding.
Groom + Groomsmen
And there Cameron was, wearing his navy blue suit, with a pinstripe tie. The white button-down shirt made the darker colors on top take center stage. He paired the suit with brown leather shoes. Coming together to form the perfect groom. Next to him stood his groomsmen (and woman). They wore nave blue suspenders, paired with white button-downs and mauve bowties. All the wedding colors came together to form the perfect wedding party.
Reception
After LeeAnna + Cameron exchanged their “I dos”, they were finally ready to celebrate their new chapter! They moved the party to the indoor reception area. This is where they were greeted with gold confetti bombs. These represented the true excitement of their new marriage. A few slow dances, speeches, and drinks of alcohol later, and they were ready for their future together as one!
