Why did you decide to become a photographer?
I became a photographer because I realized how life-changing it can be to have a good photo of yourself! Seeing yourself is hard, but that moment when you see yourself the way everyone else sees you – it’s magic.
What is your favorite thing about being a photographer?
The love! Being able to photograph couples is the true joy of my work. I try to find ways to capture the genuine feeling between two people – and have fun doing it!
What is a favorite memory from an event you’ve shot?
Balancing on a party bus while I photographed the wedding party going ham! I felt like I was surfing and taking photos at the same time!
What is your favorite part of a wedding night?
The couples portraits! It’s such a sweet little reprieve – the couple gets to spend time enjoying each other’s company and I get to capture the quiet love between them. So lovely!
