How did you get into wedding videography? I actually got into it by chance. I filmed my first wedding in 2019 and immediately fell in love with the process.
What do you enjoy most about filming weddings? Every wedding and every couple is so unique. I love the challenge of weaving together a story from the day each time.
What is your filming style? I’m all about candid, documentary-style vibes. I love capturing the unseen and sweetest moments shared between your closest people.

How long have you been in the wedding industry? I have been filming weddings since 2017 and have captured over 100 couples across the United States and internationally.
What does wedding videography mean to you? To me, it is more than just filming. It is about capturing the essence of a couple’s love story and preserving the emotions, joy, and beauty of their special day.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time? I enjoy exploring new editing techniques, attending workshops, and experimenting with different styles and angles. Outside of videography, I love spending time with family and friends, traveling, and discovering new cultures and traditions.

What is your background in videography? By day, I serve as the Media Director at Greeneway Church, overseeing creative media projects and productions. Outside of that, I run my own company, Maia Productions, and have been working professionally in videography since 2013. I began specializing in shooting events in 2015 and have been capturing unforgettable moments ever since.
What sets you apart as a wedding videographer? I’m known for being adaptable and quick to troubleshoot. Whether it’s managing multiple cameras, ensuring professional audio, or coordinating every detail as a one-man band, I deliver seamless and efficient results.
What is your approach to wedding films? I’m passionate about creating stunning wedding films that tell each couple’s unique love story. My focus is on being fast, courteous, and attentive to every moment of the day so couples can relax and enjoy their celebration.

Favorite thing about working in the wedding and events industry? I love the people! From the first consultation to the wedding day, I enjoy getting to know each couple along with their family and friends. I also love bringing organization to the chaos of a wedding day, whether it is reminding the bride to put on her veil, making sure she has water, or finding quick solutions when challenges pop up.
What are your camera bag/wedding day essentials? Along with my gear, I always pack granola bars, an ice cold water bottle, lint rollers, and tape.
What is your favorite moment to capture on a wedding day? The first dance and the father daughter dance. I almost always tear up during these moments.
Anything else you want potential couples to know about you/working with you? I love capturing the moments couples may not get to see, like each other getting ready, kids playing outside, or relatives arriving for the ceremony. My goal is to document your day exactly as it happened and showcase all the people who made it special.
