The Ceremony
Instead of a big crowd, Sam and Mike chose something more personal. On the morning of October 5th, they said “I do” in a private ceremony at Joslyn Castle. Just immediate family, no rush, no pressure. They knew they wanted a wedding that felt authentic, and for them, that meant keeping the ceremony small and special. But that didn’t mean skipping out on a big celebration with friends.
The Reception
Later that evening, the real party kicked off at Hall 31—a historic venue with serious character. Originally a Schlitz Tied House built in the late 1800s, it’s now a warm, inviting space that blends industrial charm with cozy vibes.
They served heavy hors d’oeuvres before dinner and had Dante’s Pizza on-site firing up wood-fired pies and fresh salads, and dessert came from The Bubbly Tart.
The Vendors
Every part of the night was covered by people who just got it. Dante’s brought the pizza game strong, and The Bubbly Tart desserts were as pretty as they were tasty. Erin from Complete Weddings + Events captured every laugh, detail, and dance move perfectly. Quionez from Complete Weddings kept the dance floor full all night—he brought the kind of energy that makes you forget to sit down.
