On the morning of September 3, 2022, love was in the air. Mia and Jack were getting ready for their big day and spending the rest of their lives together! Here is how their September wedding day in Omaha played out!
Getting Ready
The wedding party started the morning by getting ready separately. The bride spent the morning with her girls getting her hair and makeup done. The groom spent the morning getting ready and playing a little Nintendo Switch.
The Wedding Party
The wedding party consisted of five bridesmaids and five groomsmen, all close friends and family to the bride and groom. The bridesmaids wore long dark orange dresses and the groomsmen wore gray suits, gray ties, and brown dress shoes.
The Ceremony
At 2:00 PM, the ceremony began. Guests filed into the pews of St. Margaret Mary’s Church in Omaha, NE. The bride made her way down the aisle in her stunning white gown. The couple had a traditional Catholic ceremony. They exchanged vows, placed rings on each other’s fingers, and made things official with a kiss!
Wedding Party Pregame
Before the ceremony took place, the wedding party did a little pregaming of their own! The bride and groom popped their first bottle of champagne as Mr. & Ms. Slagle and the bridesmaids and groomsmen celebrated by having a few drinks of their own.
The Reception
The reception took place at The Pella At Blackstone, located in downtown Omaha. The newlyweds made their grand entrance, and the party started! The reception included dinner, cake cutting, a first dance for the couple, some toasts, and of course more dancing!
