The Love Story
Emily and TJ have been together for 11 years and their engagement was a long time coming. On New Year’s Eve, TJ surprised Emily with the perfect proposal. At dinner, a dessert plate arrived with a sparkler, catching her completely off guard! Afterward, they met up with friends to go putt-putt, and as fate would have it, Emily’s friend got engaged the same night. The group celebrated together, making it a night to remember.
The Attire
Emily was a vision on her wedding day. She wore a stunning pearl corset dress, which perfectly suited her classic style. Her hair was worn down, with a pearl hairpiece adding a bit of sparkle. The bridal party complemented her beautifully, wearing various shades of forest green. TJ looked equally sharp in a white suit jacket with black pants. His groomsmen matched the forest green theme but added a fun twist with burnt orange ties.
The Venue
The Fountains Ballroom was the ideal setting for Emily and TJ’s wedding. With two spacious suites, the venue made it easy for the couple to get ready without having to be apart from their closest friends and family. Their high ceilings and chandeliers matched the vibe of their wedding. The best part? A day-of coordinator ensured every moment went smoothly, leaving Emily and TJ to focus on enjoying their day. The Celebration
Following a heartfelt ceremony, which included the meaningful “jumping the broom” tradition, it was time to party! Emily and TJ knew how to kick off the reception in style. Their grand entrance mimicked “bottle service,” complete with signs announcing “Mr. & Mrs. Lewis” and cold sparks lighting up the room. It was the perfect way to get everyone excited for the night ahead. Their first dance was beautiful as they swayed to “All of Me” by John Legend. Complete Photographer Brad made sure the couple had a precious memory with all their guests and set up the “5-minute” photo where all tables took turns getting a photo with them. As the sun set, Emily and TJ stepped outside for a few final portraits, capturing their love in the golden light—a beautiful way to end a perfect day.
