Isaac’s proposal to Chas was one to cue the waterworks. His father had passed away while he was in high school. On the anniversary of his father’s passing, Isaac got down on one knee while releasing lanterns and asked Chas to marry him. This heartfelt gesture ensured that his dad could be part of the special moment. It was a powerful tribute that brought tears to many eyes—mine included—as the lantern illuminated the sky with love and remembrance, and Chas said yes!
Their wedding day was nothing short of a fairy tale. Surrounded by beautiful magnolia and sunflower fields, live animals—including llamas—added a touch of whimsy to the day, making the outdoor venue feel even more enchanting. Big Guys Catering delivered a mouthwatering spread, perfectly complementing the rustic charm of the celebration.
On the wedding day, DJs Nate and Philp from Complete Weddings + Events kept the energy high, creating a joyful atmosphere for everyone to celebrate. Their killer playlist had guests on the dance floor all night long, ensuring the reception was lively and memorable. Meanwhile, our videographer, Kevin, captured the fun and laughter happening under the tent and at the beer pong table—there was never a dull moment!

As the photographer, I was honored to capture every special moment, but one image truly stood out. Little Mack, who had stolen Issac’s heart long before the wedding day, posed for a family photo with his mom, dad, and now not one but two bonus parents. It was a beautiful example of co-parenting done right, with all the love and support that blended families can bring.
