Kelsey and Eric have been together since December 1st, 2019, at 3:30 in the morning! They met at Charles Thompson Hall Deaf Club in Saint Paul, MN back in August of 2019. You read that right it took them 4 months of working together before they realized maybe there was something more to it. After 5 years together they had a Minnesota fall wedding at the Braham Event Center.
It was a beautiful, yet crisp fall day and the venue had a bright and open indoor ceremony space that was easily transformed for the reception. The exterior space was also scenic, lined with birch trees in the back and a tall tunnel of pines. There was also a quaint park space across the road we were able to utilize for photos. The colors Kelsey chose for her wedding day fit perfectly into the autumn tones — rust orange, terracotta and chestnut, accented with dark cyan blue.
Eric & Kelsey are a sweet couple, blending their families together. During the ceremony (which was completely in ASL, with spoken translation), the couple brought their three children up to the altar for their unity sand ceremony. Each person had their own color of sand to blend into a keepsake box.
“You’re Still The One” by Shania Twain was the song that these two picked to share their first dance as husband and wife! Congratulation on your Minnesota Fall Wedding at the Braham Event Center Mrs. and Mr. Ross!
