Flower Girl Dream Comes True, Featured on CBS
Marianne Baumgarten always dreamed of being a flower girl, but as a child she never got the chance. Catching measles just before a wedding she was supposed to be in at age 8, Marianne thought her dream would never come true.
Decades later, Marianne’s wish became possible when she met Elizabeth Judd, who helped her with groceries during the COVID pandemic. They became close friends, and Marianne gave Elizabeth advice about parenthood as she prepared to start a family. When Elizabeth had a daughter and began planning her wedding, she invited Marianne to be part of the day in a way she never expected. At 88, Marianne walked down the aisle with Elizabeth’s daughter, creating a joyful and meaningful moment. Marianne’s story was recently featured on CBS, sharing a heartwarming experience that touched many, including our team.
Nearly 80 years later, being part of Marianne’s dream coming true was a special reminder of why weddings are so meaningful to us.
