On a cold winter day, Kaleigh and Clayton were set to get married in their hometown wedding in Ord, Nebraska. They had their wedding on Christmas Eve in the hopes to create an intimate evening with their closest family and friends. A combination of holiday cheer and love made for a perfect evening for celebrating the couple.
Before The Ceremony
The morning of Kaleigh and Clayton’s wedding was spent getting ready for the big day. The two got ready in separate locations and avoided seeing each other. All in the hopes to build up suspense for the big moment.
First Looks
Once Kaleigh was ready, she had one last thing to do before walking down the aisle. She wanted the leading men in her life to see her in her dress. Kaleigh had three separate first looks, one with the groomsmen, her dad, and Clayton. Each time, she would enter the open space with their backs turned from her. When they turned around, a range of emotions came across their faces.
The Bride
Kaleigh wore a fitted trumped dress. On the front, it had an embroidered bodice. A sleek line on her midriff separated it and the simpler skirt. On the back of the dress, buttons went all the way down to her the end of the long trail of the skirt. Kaleigh accessorized the look with pearl moments, from her veil down to her bracelet. All forming the perfect bride!
Wedding Venue Decor
Once the wedding party was ready, they headed to the Jubilee Events & Catering building for the hometown wedding. When they entered the space, it was everything they could have imagined and more! The interior had Christmas trees that lined the perimeter. A large garland hung against the door the Kaleigh + Clayton would later use as their altar. Rows of black chairs faced them. In the back of the room, food stations and tables were set and ready for the latter part of the evening. From hot cocoa stations to charcuterie boards. It was certain that the night was going to be a good night.
The Ceremony
Guests arrived and took their seats. Music began playing to signal the wedding party to make their way down the aisle. The bridesmaids wore pink velvet dresses. The groomsmen each wore grey suits, with a printed blue button-down, topping it all off with a blue velvet tie. Once they had made their way down the aisle, it was time for Kaleigh to make her way down the aisle.
Kaleigh stepped out and caught the eye of every guest, but her eyes were locked on Clayton. Clayton wore a deep blue suit, with the same printed blue shirt his groomsmen wore. He paired his suit with a pink velvet tie. The two met and held hands as they exchanged vows and made promises. All sealed with a kiss! The two were finally husband and wife!
Hometown Wedding Reception
As soon as the newly married couple were married, the partying began! To start it off, Kaleigh’s maid of honor made a speech that had equal parts emotion and laughter. Kaleigh + Clayton proceeded to have their cake cutting and danced the rest of the night away. The night ended with a stunning sparkler send off and the two were off on their new journey in their hometown!
