Katie + Drake’s Wedding at Doniphan Event Center was filled with family, friends, and plenty of good memories. From the first look to the last song, it was the kind of celebration that felt personal and true to them.
The Attire
Katie wore a mermaid lace dress that fit her day perfectly. The bridesmaids all wore navy blue dresses, each in their own style, which made the group feel coordinated but not too formal. Drake and his groomsmen wore gray suits with navy ties that matched the bridesmaids and kept the whole party looking sharp.
The Ceremony
The ceremony was held at United Methodist Church, which gave the couple a meaningful setting to say their vows. Before walking down the aisle, Katie shared a first look with her dad and later with Drake. Both moments were emotional and set the tone for the day. After the ceremony, the couple and their wedding party jumped on a party bus, kicking off the celebration with plenty of laughs and music.
The Venue
The reception was at Doniphan Event Center, a space that worked well for both dinner and dancing. The center has a full-featured kitchen, a large meeting area, and smaller rooms, which makes it a practical spot for a wedding reception. Katie + Drake went with Whitefoot Catering for their meal, which guests enjoyed before the dance floor opened. The venue gave everyone plenty of room to gather and celebrate.
The Video
Hayden from Complete Weddings + Events captured the wedding on video, making sure the big and small moments were saved for Katie + Drake to look back on. Their DJ, Logan from Complete, kept the dance floor busy throughout the night. Music played a huge role in keeping the energy up, and Logan made sure the celebration ended on a high note.
