DJ Ricky

Hi folks!  I am a versatile and flexible DJ with over 12 years of experience in blending and mixing, for live performances, and recording.  I first got my start in Massachusetts as a college student and DJ’d for birthdays, basement parties, and student organizational events.  Stationed in Okinawa, in the Air Force, I led a DJ team for the Enlisted Men, and Officers Club.  Years of school choir singing allows for adding my own voice to DJ and Emceeing, and music selection.  I am fluent in multiple genres such as hip-hop, R & B, top 40, Latin and country.  With my experience in weddings, I understand the need of communicating with clarity, to make sure that an event proceeds, phase-to-phase, with a mix of smooth transitioning, timeliness, and a good sense of humor. I like to bring a gentle, familial and fun atmosphere for wedding celebrations.  I like to keep people engaged and enjoying one another, so everyone has a memorable experience.

My favorite thing about this job, is connecting with newlyweds and your guests, getting an idea of what kind of energy you want for your special night, and making sure I go above and beyond to deliver a night that will start off the rest of your lives on a beautiful and positive note.
