I once DJed a family reunion at a hotel when a group of men from India wandered in and joined the fun. Everyone started dancing together, and it turned into a great party. One of them turned out to be a groom getting married at the same hotel and hired me on the spot for his wedding. That night was incredible!
I love knowing that for a few hours, I get to make people happy. Seeing guests smile, laugh, and dance reminds me why I do what I do. Helping couples and their families have the time of their lives is the best feeling.
"We loved our DJ Oj..... we told him what we liked and what we didn't like, because we didn't want a reception like every other reception we went to. We told him only 3 line dances, and family friendly lyrics. We wanted everybody to dance and have a good time. That's just what we got – some great dance music – all night long. Well, almost all night. We kept asking him to stay longer, which he graciously did, and only shut it down when the police came at 2AM and told us the neighbors of the beach wedding venue had finally heard enough. What a great night!!"
