Will I need a full print release of my photographs?

Receiving a full print release of your photographs is always a good idea so you can print the photos without a watermark anywhere, at any time you need. When can I expect my wedding photos?

8-12 weeks after your event

Do we need to provide meals for the DJ, photographer, videographer and coordinator?

Yes, providing a vendor meal is industry standard for any professional working a 6+ hour shift.

How long do we actually need our photographer on-site?

8-hours is usually the sweet spot for covering the end of getting-ready details, ceremony, family photos, & main events of the reception. If you’d like extensive morning prep or a grand sparkler exit at night, a 10-hour package is safer.

Videography

Can I customize my wedding video package?

Absolutely! We offer several packages, but we’re always happy to discuss tweaks to fit your vision and budget.

When will the videographer contact me to discuss wedding day details?

Your videographer is scheduled to reach out to you about 3 weeks before the wedding. We usually recommend doing your videography meeting after you meet with your photographer.

Our operations manager will be reaching out to you 1 week before the wedding to customize your photo booth. During that time, he will gather any additional details and share them with your photo booth operator.

What’s included with the photo booth rental?

You get setup, unlimited sessions, a variety of props, digital copies, and an optional custom scrapbook. We handle the details so you can enjoy your event.

Can I customize the photo booth for my event?

Coordination

How does a coordinator differ from a wedding planner?

A day of coordinator and a wedding planner differ mainly in the level of involvement and timing. A wedding planner is with you throughout the entire planning process, helping with budgeting, vendor selection, design decisions, and overall event vision from the very beginning. In contrast, a day of coordinator steps in closer to the wedding date to take the plans you have already made and ensure everything is executed smoothly. They focus on managing the timeline, coordinating vendors, handling setup and logistics, and making sure your wedding day runs seamlessly so you can relax and enjoy it.

When will the coordinator contact me to discuss wedding day details?

The coordinator will reach out to you about 60 days before the wedding to schedule your first meeting.

What is “Day-of Coordinator”, and do we really need one if our venue has a coordinator?

A venue manager manages the building (food, staff). An event coordinator with Complete Weddings + Events manages your wedding (keeps timeline moving, wrangling the wedding party, & making sure all the other vendors are doing their jobs).

DJ

What equipment does my DJ show up with?

The DJ will bring a professional DJ system, which includes LED dance floor lighting, a two-speaker sound system, and a wireless microphone. They will also bring the photo booth and any additional lighting if added to your package.

When will the DJ contact me to discuss wedding day details?

Your DJ is scheduled to reach out to you 2 weeks before the wedding day. We recommend that they be one of your last meetings you do since they are detail and timeline based!

How will my DJ handle song requests?

Your DJ will handle song requests however you prefer (no song requests, limited song request or only pre-approved songs).

Yes, providing a vendor meal is industry standard for any professional working a 6+ hour shift.
