Why did you decide to become a photographer?
I have always loved the artistic side and story telling part of photography. When I discovered wedding photography I knew I had found my passion. I get to tell the couple’s love story through the images that are captured and delivered! I believe every couple has a unique love story and I want my images to display that. I became a photographer to tell stories and live that out through every wedding I capture.
What is your favorite memory from an event you’ve shot?
I once photographed a small elopement in Colorado. Every single detail from the wedding was perfection. There was a lot of laughter, happy tears, and many friendships made.
What is your favorite thing about being a photographer?
Creating relationships with my couples. I have so many friendships I have made from being a wedding photographer and I wouldn’t trade them for anything!
What makes you or your work unique/stand out?
I capture the in-betweens. The moments you doubt no one else sees. After the day is over, these photos are usually the most precious to the couple.
What is your favorite part of the night?
My favorite part of the night is absolutely the reception! Everyone gets to let loose and celebrate while I get to capture the best candids.
List one fun fact about you most people do not know:
I photographed my first wedding when I was 15 years old.
