Why did you decide to become a photographer?
I took photography as an elective in high school, but it wasn’t until college that I realized how much I loved it. Then, I bought a used camera and started taking photos everywhere I went. As a result, I learned that each photo tells a story, and I loved capturing the moments of my life.
What is your favorite memory from an event you’ve shot?
My favorite memory as a wedding photographer was capturing the love between my friends Devin and Rachel on their wedding day. I was the second shooter, but I felt like I was a major part of their story.
What is your favorite thing about being a photographer?
My favorite thing about being a photographer is the ability to capture moments and emotions. In turn, people share with others so they can remember those moments years from now. Therefore, I get to experience many adventures and memories of my own.
What makes you or your work unique/stand out?
As a passionate photographer, I strive to ensure that my photos meet the highest standards before presenting them. My goal is to create images that appear natural yet captivating to the viewer. Being a nostalgic individual, I understand that the photos I capture will serve as cherished memories for people to look back on. Therefore, I take great care to ensure that my photos transport individuals back to the very moment they were taken.
What is your favorite part of the night?
My favorite part of the night is watching everyone come alive to the music. Consequently, as the nerves and pressure slip away, everyone can finally enjoy the night free of stress. I love seeing the emotions on the dance floor, from the upbeat songs to the slow songs.
List one fun fact about you most people do not know:
I am a huge geek when it comes to Lord of the Rings and Star wars, and a branch of my photography is that I do toy photography which entails photographing action figures from popular movies and bringing them to life in our world. Sort of like Toy Story.
