After months on end of planning, Jennifer + Shaun were finally ready to celebrate their wedding at Venue Chisca. A perfect venue for their day set in Peoria, IL. This was the beginning of the newest chapter in their love story.
Attire
The Bride’s Attire
On the day of Jennifer + Shaun’s wedding, the bride decided to go for a trumpet-style lace dress. The lace covered the entirety of the dress, including the straps attached to the sweetheart neckline. Jennifer paired the dress with a flyaway veil to keep the attention on the dress. Creating an all-encompassing beautiful bride.
The Groom + Wedding Party
To make the perfect couple, Shaun wore a navy blue suit with a matching vest. He paired the suit with a white button shirt and a cabernet red tie to top it all off!
The wedding party was a combination of the wedding’s color palette. The bridesmaids wore that cabernet red for their dresses. Each dress with its own unique neckline. The groomsmen all wore matching navy blue suits with the groom.
Ceremony
Once the wedding party was ready, it was time to begin the ceremony. Guests arrived in the Venue Chisca space and found stunning scenery. At the end of the aisle were translucent curtains hanging against the wall. A warm glow came from the string lights that lay beneath the curtains. Vine branches wrapped around the top creating an enchanting scene.
Soon music began playing to signal the beginning of the ceremony. Two-by-two, the wedding party made its way down the aisle. Finally, Jennifer stepped out with her father in hand. She reached the end of the aisle and held Shaun’s hand. They exchanged vows and promises, and sealed it all off with a kiss! Jennifer + Shaun were finally husband and wife!
Venue Chisca
Next came the reception! No time was wasted as the reception took place in the same space at Venue Chisca. Guests walked over to the round table seating. Each table was decorated with white linen, a deep red table runner, and the vine and candle centerpieces. Above, the guests could see crystal chandeliers hanging throughout the room. The lounge area of the room also played off of the wedding’s colors. A deep red love seat and white accent chairs. Behind this setting were a few green palm leaf plants. All coming together to create a cohesive look.
Reception
The last part of the night was filled with many festivities. First and foremost, the grand entrance of the new Mr. + Mrs. Oster. Sweet toasts and dancing topped off the night for Jennifer + Shaun.
