Samantha and Matthew’s rustic wedding at Red Oak Barn in Jenkins, Minnesota, was a beautiful example of a rustic fall wedding.
The Beginning
Samantha & Matthew’s wedding started as all weddings do, preparing for the big day! As the bride and groom get ready for their special day, they’re surrounded by loved ones who are eager to share in their joy. This couple chose to do a first look, which is a private moment between the couple before the ceremony. This is a special moment where the couple can take a deep breath, relax, and share a few quiet moments together. Whether it’s a tearful embrace or a joyful laugh, the first look is a beautiful moment that the couple will cherish forever.
The Venue
Red Oak Barn in Jenkins, Minnesota is a stunning barn that had been beautifully renovated for weddings. It was decorated with lights and a beautiful chandelier, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. This huge barn created a beautiful backdrop for photos and plenty of outside space for Samantha & Matthew’s ceremony and for the family to enjoy food, love, & laughter.
The Attire
Samantha looked stunning in her white wedding gown, which had a detailed back and a flowing train. She wore her hair in loose curls and carried a bouquet of cream and ivory flowers. Matthew looked dashing in his black suit, which he paired with a sage green tie. The bridesmaid and groomsmen wore sage green to compliment the bride and groom.
The Little Things
Wedding details are an essential part of creating a cohesive and memorable wedding day. The little things, like the carefully chosen centerpieces, the personalized place settings, and the floral arrangements, add up to create a unique and personalized celebration. Samantha & Matthew choose sage green and ivory as their wedding colors with Lace and Burlap accents.
The Ceremony
The ceremony was held outside, with only the closest of friends and immediate family. The area was lit up by the warm glow of the sun, creating a magical atmosphere. The couple exchanged heartfelt vows in front of their closest friends and family, with the autumn leaves rustling outside.
The End
After the ceremony, guests were treated to a reception inside the barn. The space was transformed by warm lighting, and a taco bar, in addition to a beautiful cake, cupcakes, and a photo booth to capture the memories forever.
The couple’s first dance was a beautiful moment, dancing away to the song “Grow Old with You by Adam Sandler”.
