We are so excited for fall weddings in Brainerd & Brainerd Lakes again! The cool weather, the autumn air, the colors. . . It’s a magical time for weddings in Minnesota! Looking back on this gorgeous outdoor wedding is reminding us of all the fun fall time can bring, and also what an adorable backdrop autumn trees make for wedding photos. Keep reading to take a look at the beautiful fashion, and the love that Sarah and Chase shared, and the party they had on their breath-taking, perfect Fall wedding in Brainerd.
Chase + Sarah’s Fall Wedding in Brainerd, MN
The Couple’s Outdoor Portraits
We had to highlight this aspect of the wedding first, because it is our absolute favorite! Sarah and Chase decided to take their portraits together outside with the beautiful Brainerd, MN nature. The trees were a gorgeous autumn orange, red, and yellow color. The leaves on the ground added some extra color to the photos.
Sarah wore a gorgeous dress with sheer long sleeves and lace. Her hair was in a twisted up-do, braided on the sides with loose curls falling on her cheeks. Her hair piece brought the look together seamlessly! She wore sparkly jewelry, but it wasn’t too much; she looked radiant and it added that little touch of sparkle every bride needs on her wedding day. She really embraced the autumn feel with her make-up. Her blush was bronze, with brown, shimmery eye shadow. Her lip color was a deep brownish-red, matching the colors of the trees. The bouquet was gorgeous, adding a little bit of pink to her look. It was laced with pink roses and peonies within the greenery. Chase wore a classic black suit which complemented Sarah perfectly. His look was pulled together with a sleek black tie.
The Wedding Party
We loved how well the wedding party’s fashion complemented the theme of the wedding! Sarah’s bridesmaids wore different shades of pink and wore different styles of dresses as well. We love when the bridesmaids aren’t matching exactly, but their looks go together seamlessly! The pink they wore also matched the pink in the bouquets, which resembled Sarah’s bouquet in a smaller version. Their hair was in a twisted up-do, with a simple necklace to pull the look together. The groomsmen were also mismatched, just like the bridesmaids. Some wore a white shirt, black pants, and a black-tie to go with Chase’s outfit, others wore a vest, and others wore a jacket as well! We loved the simplicity and think it pulls the wedding fashion together nicely!
The littles involved were just a cute and snazzy looking as the rest of the crew! The flower girls had white dresses with pink little decorations, and they wore pink crocs to go with the rest of the wedding party! What a cute and comfy idea for the kiddos to wear. The ring bearer had on charcoal pants, a charcoal vest over a white collared button-up, and a bow tie to pull the look together. Oh, and he was obviously in a pair of comfy crocs as well!
The Reception
Sarah and Chase shared a beautiful grand entrance and first dance together, and of course, had a delicious dinner and dessert with their family and friends. The bouquet toss pictures are some of our favorites! We love this wedding tradition and hope it continues to play a part in future couple’s weddings. The reception in Brainerd, MN was definitely a party you wanted to be at! The Complete Weddings + Events DJ had everyone up and dancing all night long.
The party lights going on the dance floor were a huge hit, and the kids were tearing it up until their feet were sore. The couple provided light sticks for their guests at their photo booth station and allowed the kids to dance with them throughout the night, too. How fun!
