Charlie + Liz, a Beautiful Country Wedding

Charlie and Liz were SO MUCH FUN.  The entire country wedding day was full of laughter, smiles, and infectious joy.  No one could doubt the amount of love they have for each other because it was evident in the way they looked at each other.

From the moment I met Charlie, I noticed his top level of hospitality and care for his family and friends.  He gave me a tour of their beautiful hobby farm, including their fainting goats, pig, and cows! He showed me their luxury, air-conditioned portable bathroom, their economy-sized air conditioner, and offered us food and drinks throughout the wedding.  There was also a rented truck with a wall of sinks for hand washing, hand sanitizer on every table, and enough food and drinks to feed an army.

Liz arrived looking like a princess.  As she put the finishing touches on her makeup, she pointed out to me post it’s all around her mirror, love notes from Charlie.   As she spoke about him, a smile lit up her face.  Throughout the day, I learned that Liz not only looks like a princess, she’s also full of grace, kindness, and contagious excitement.

Looking through their album, it’s almost with disbelief that I remember the 102° heat index and intermittent thunderstorms.  There is no hint of misery, only happiness.  In fact, even though it began to pour while taking portraits, they insisted we keep ongoing.  There’s an amazing image of Liz walking towards me with raindrops frozen in the air like glitter all around her.

Charlie and Liz together were so easy to photograph.  Their spontaneous, playful nature made for beautiful wedding photography images.  I will fondly look back on their special day as one of my favorite weddings.  I hope they have a lifetime of love and happiness together.
