It was an early November day when love was in the air. Two families scurried across the Rutgers Bay Lake Resort, as they looked forward to the day ahead. By the end of the night, the families would unite by the love between Maddie + Brian. They were the bride and groom that were to be wedded. These are the events that led to their effortlessly timeless wedding at Ruttgers in Deerwood, MN.
Attire
The Bride
The attire that everyone wears during the wedding day is part of what makes the day so special. Maddie’s dress was uniquely hers. She wore a simple column dress with a bateau neckline. It gave a modest look to her, but the fitted body of the dress gave it an extra appeal. Along with some buttons that ran down her back and along the train. This dress gave off a style that would withstand the test of time.
The Wedding Party
Each of the bridesmaids had a unique dress in different colors. But when standing next to each other, the sage, cinnamon, and black bridesmaids’ dress all came together in harmony. They paired together as the perfect fall colors to compliment the season of the wedding.
The groomsmen all wore navy blue suits paired with white button shirts, blue ties, and brown shoes. To stand out against them, Brian wore the same suit but with an ivory tie.
Ceremony
The wedding ceremony took place indoors at Ruttger’s Bay Lake Resort. The wood inner workings of the space gave the area a rustic charm. As guests entered the room, they each took seats in the log cabin-esque ceremony room. One by one, the smallest family members of Brian + Maddie’s family walked down the aisle, leading to the wedding party, and finally the bride. Vows and promises were exchanged until the couple finally sealed their future together with a kiss. Maddie + Brian were officially one!
Wedding Reception at Ruttgers
Guests migrated to the reception area of the resort. As they entered the space, they saw white linen tables, dressed up with maroon napkins, that played off the pattern on the chairs. The table also had candle centerpieces that played off the intimate feeling of the night. Bouquets of varying shades of vibrant reds, yellows, and oranges were strategically placed around the room. One thing for sure captured the eyes of the guests. The dance floor was magnified with the large lit letters that spelled love. A perfect stage for the dancing that was to follow.
The night went on with cake cutting, laughter, and of course more dancing! Brian and Maddie were fully welcomed into the next stage of their lives with an unforgettable night.
