What is your favorite memory from an event you’ve photographed? 

My favorite memory is way too hard to choose. The energy of the day is always the best feeling. To see the couple so joyful and excited for the next chapter of their lives is amazing. 

What is your favorite thing about being a photographer? 

A couple of things, for one I get extremely excited about technology. Being a photographer lets me work with the latest tech. The second thing for me is getting to meet people. Everyone has such a unique story and point of view, and I love to be part of that story. 

What makes you stand out? 

I prefer a laid back approach. I would much rather get candids of the day rather than pose people. Candids always feel more real and in my opinion and bring memories back better. I also prefer a true to life look in my photos. 

What is your favorite part of the event? 

The food. There’s nothing like Great food. whether it’s the smell or eating it. Most events I have been to are BBQ and I LOVE BBQ. That’s not something we have a lot back home in Minnesota! So far Terry Blacks and Franklins are a tie, for me here in Austin. I’m open to suggestions for places to try! Outside of food I would have to say right after the ceremony, everyone is so excited and pumped up. It’s overall just a great feeling to be around. 

What’s something most people don’t know about you? 

I am a certified drone pilot and I spend tons of hours flying FPV drones and I’ve only crashed about 12 so far. Luckily with the headset you already look weird so it doesn’t feel too bad when you crash…
