Wedding Day Groom Style
Suit or Tux Color
The color of the groom’s suit can vary greatly, but the most common colors are navy, gray, and black. Black suits are best if you’re wanting a more formal affair, but navy and teal men’s attire are both still dashing! Another option, great for neutral or brown wedding color schemes, is beige for the groom and groomsmen.
Tie or Bow Tie
Choosing between a bow tie and a tie is a great decision for the groom to make on his own! Maybe the groom wants to feel extra fancy for the big day, so this is a great chance to wear a bow tie if this isn’t normally in his attire. Some couples also style the groom in a bow tie to help him stand out, while the other men in the wedding party sport full length ties. Or try vice versa! Either way, the color, print, and/or texture here is really where the fun comes in!
Styling the Accessories
When it comes to the overall Wedding Day Groom Style color scheme accessories, like the tie, bow tie, or pocket square, this is typically going to depend what other colors are being used during the wedding day. Matching either the wedding flowers or bridesmaid’s dresses is a great place to start! The groom also doesn’t have to be the same color as the groomsmen either. Printed or white accessories, can help differentiate him from the rest of the squad. Having all the groomsmen and ring bearers in the same link is also common option with less choices for you!
