Super spunky, definitely a little sassy, but always the life of the party no matter where I go.
I’m an open person and very easy to communicate with, so I always make sure the couple knows that they can come to me with any request to make sure their night is perfect.
What makes you unique as a DJ?
I’m a very fluid person. I strive to make sure the couple knows one very important thing – we can do WHATEVER you want!! There truly is nothing too “weird” or random, or anything you think that is too silly that I won’t do for you! I’m available to you from the moment you get my phone number – if you have questions; ask them. If you have concerns; let me know what they are! If you need to warn me about Uncle Bob because he gets a little wild the later he stays up, tell me that, too!!

Our whole team is truly one big family. We’re always there to brainstorm ideas off of each other, build each other up, and hype everyone up when we need it! The professionalism throughout the entire organization is unmatched. Everyone helps play a vital role in creating lifelong memories for people and we all take it very seriously, and it shows!
What is the best part about DJing at weddings?
I feel so honored that I get to be such an integral part of a couple’s big day. I get a high off of being able to read the energy of the crowd and play song after song after song and they are just absolutely losing their minds because they forgot how much they loved the songs.
What is your #1 goal at an event?
Simply? To make sure you shake your butt and have fun, of course!
Not so simply – I strive to create an environment for the evening that people are going to leave and just absolutely rave about for days to come. I aim to make sure that you, as the couple, have not a care in the world and are just sitting and basking in all of the love that your friends and family will be showering you with.

Our DJ Alaina was so fun!! We had many guests tell us how wonderful she was; not only as a DJ but also going around and talking to guests about song requests and even helping get my husband and I by getting us things we needed so we didn’t have to get up from the table!!

What makes you unique as a DJ?
Starting in my teens, I bring 20 years of experience as a DJ, spending most of that focused on Weddings, playing for crowds of every genre, size, style, and mood. I have never stopped learning and improving, and I am always looking for the next opportunity to bring a better experience to all my couples.
I bring the music, experience, technical skills, and lighting to take your event anywhere from a full club experience to any other form of musically crafted journey, focusing on using the songs not individually, but building them into an experience.

What is the best part about DJing at weddings?
Weddings are so unique to every couple, every event, and every gathering of friends and family. From very traditional and conservative to incredibly unique, each event is its own set of challenges and goals, with an experience that truly is its own. In the many hundreds of weddings, no two have ever been the same.
A wedding is one of the largest celebrations in a couple’s life. I feel honored to be a part of the celebration, and to help you make lasting memories.
What is your #1 goal at an event?
My goal for every event is to see and execute the vision of every couple and leave both you and your guests with a memory you’ll cherish for the rest of your life. I want every person at a wedding to feel welcome to come on to the dance floor and be a part of that experience as well. I want every couple to feel that in picking me as their DJ, that an investment was made, not just an expense for the night.
Brandon was super helpful and throughout the night and asked us if we wanted to change anything. He also was very supportive and played a good variety of music! I would definitely recommend Brandon to other people!

I love everything from meeting with the Bride and Groom before the wedding to seeing them at the ceremony or reception and doing whatever I can to make the rest of the night fan-flipping-tastic.

I want to make sure that the Bride is always happy and smiling.
I want to make sure everyone else is happy and smiling too but first and foremost the Bride is more important and at the forefront of everything that I do.
We loved having complete weddings DJ our wedding! We had Jeff for our DJ and he was a perfect fit!! He helped us pick songs that were fitting for what we needed when we weren’t sure what to play. He was there with plenty of time to spare to get everything set up and ready to go. Jeff was so chill and fit in perfectly for us and the rest of the team that helped with our wedding day! He asked multiple times if there was anything we needed and was always quick to do what we needed. The lead up to the wedding was wonderful as well. Our DJ Jeff and photographer Christin were absolutely amazing to have on our wedding day! Christin was so outgoing and helpful in posing us. It was fairly hot and it was reassuring to have the time to dab off sweat, etc. Then DJ Jeff was such a great facilitator at our reception. Right after the ceremony, the tornado and thunderstorm warnings started going off and Jeff reassured me that everything would be fine and that he would take care of everything and the guests. My stress levels were completely lifted and I believe it is all because of those two people. They allowed me to truly enjoy our wedding day. And I cannot be more thankful for that alone.

Ian was a fabulous DJ! He went above and beyond repeatedly: he got the crowd going with our 'kissing menu', kept things moving, was very entertaining, played what we wanted which was songs to keep everyone dancing all night, and they did!

Other than the first dance, I absolutely love getting to play games with the wedding party, especially scavenger hunts! I’ve had quite a few competitive bridesmaids and groomsmen who quite literally will throw each other in order to win😂
My favorite song I play to get the party going is Fireball by Pitbull. I use this song all the time to pack the dance floor with a conga line or what I like to call a fireball dance🔥 PS: It works like a charm 😉
Caden (DJ) - I can't say enough about how amazing Caden is! He went out of his way to make our day the most fun and was really the MVP out the whole night! From our first communication, to our first meeting, and even after everything was said and done, he made sure to make us feel special. Caden listened to our every need, made any and all accomodations we had, and even went further to include our friends and family into the event. When I tell you that Michael Jackson can't out dance Caden, I mean it! This man was out hyping the guests, dancing, laughing, taking requests, and made the dance floor lit AF! He made my daughter feel like such a big part of the day by including her and letting her MC for a bit and even rap us a song 😂! The whole night was just a dream. Thank you Caden and thank you Complete for a legit Completely awesome fairytale night!

I love to see people smiling, dancing and having a great time. And, of course, I love being able to incorporate all styles of music, which has been important throughout my life.
That’s a tough one! There are so many awesome components of each event, but I would have to say the best is hearing the bride/groom/customer say “thank you so much” at the end of the night and say what a great time they had.
There are so many fun songs, so it’s difficult to choose just one! It depends on the group, but some of the top ones would be when everyone is dancing and singing along to songs like “Shout,” “Don’t Stop Believing,” “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” “Friends In Low Places,” etc.
We used Complete's DJ services and had an amazing experience. Our DJ, Wayne, was great. He met with us twice before the wedding to ensure everything was in order. On the day of, he arrived early to ensure things were set up and working properly before the ceremony. But what he did best was keep our guests entertained. He had the dance floor full even at the end of the night. He did an incredible job and would no doubt recommend him and Complete.

What is the best part about DJing at Weddings?
At the end of the night when I look into the Bride and Groom’s faces, and the faces of there families and I see the excitement in their eyes it makes it all worth it. They don’t want the event to stop and neither do I. It’s like I become part of their family for one amazing night.
What is your #1 goal at an event?
Raising the bar for an exceptional reception. Each night is a new opportunity to do more. To learn more. Making every bride and groom “Completely” happy, keeping that dance floor hopping, or just reaching out and finding little ways I can make their night a night to remember, forever!
We were matched with Tim and his assistant Celia for our big day. We have been hearing from all our guests that they had an absolute blast! They nailed the style of music and kept the dance floor going the best they could (a lot of our guests were older and preferred sitting and talking, but that was expected). We were told they were very good about playing song requests promptly. Both Celia and Tim were also good about communicating to Levi and I throughout the reception about when we wanted to get things moving and acted swiftly when we told them we were ready. Our older guests were very tickled that you both made it out to their tables to take song requests. And great job with the scavenger hunt! Thank you everyone at Complete for helping us celebrate!

Our DJ, Tim, was so great! He was interactive and fun. He also kept the evening flowing and was great at communicating. He definitely kept our guests dancing and even joined in on the fun! Our videographer, Scott, also did a great job and offered great ways to capture the day. He also offered up lighting assistance to assist with indoor photos.

Christin our photographer knew exactly how to pose us naturally and let the session flow naturally with lots of photo ops. Tim our DJ was awesome as well! He kept the energy high during the reception and dance, and he was able to read the crowd very well. When we were wanting to wind things down a bit early, he had the perfect final songs to play at the end to end on a high note. Just a great guy and great DJ! And of course, Sarah the owner in Sioux Falls is so professional, punctual and responsive. She is very easy to talk to via phone or email and was always very helpful. My photographer Levi, and my DJ Marshal were very accommodating and easy to work with! Im not great with poses, and Levi was great at directing me and my husband on what to do. It seemed like if there was a moment going on, Levi was always there to get it on camera. We met our DJ, Marshal, when we went to my sister in laws wedding. We liked him so much that we requested him for our own wedding, and he did not disappoint. It seemed like every request I had was not a problem for Marshal. One of my favorite things is that he even got up on the dance floor, which I encouraged. I got many compliments that my DJ did a great job getting my guests onto the dance floor! Very impressed!

If I could give 1000000/10 I would. Mikey was the best DJ and fit in perfectly with our family and guests. He made sure everything ran smoothly and also remixed a song for me a little bit so I could use it. There’s nothing negative to say about Mikey. He got the dance floor going when it seemed to be dying down, played all the types of songs I requested and knew what songs worked best and where. My brothers will be getting married eventually and would love to have Mikey at their wedding. Such a fun time and we loved having him there.

Everybody was so nice and organized! I love how I could get multiple services (Photo and DJ is what I did) through the same vendor. Streamlined a lot of planning processes. I’m the type of guy to always look at the glass half-full, no matter the situation. I’m friendly, kind, upbeat, and I’d like to say charismatic. Sprinkle in a little bit of funiness and my own sense of style, and boom you’ve completed the painting of a person called Jordan!

My sense for people is something I like to pride myself on, knowing the little subtleties of how to act around any group I find myself in. Not only do I love people, but the gratuity I feel when I get to be apart of someone’s special day fills me with an infectious energy that spreads to those who I get to work with.

It’s a blast each and every day. I’ve never before had the pleasure of being in an environment quite like Complete, where everyone is so kind, upbeat, helpful, and most importantly, focused on a common goal. The atmosphere. Being apart of it and helping to create the party is like jet fuel to me, it lights a fire in me that won’t quit. The laughs, the smiles, the crazy times are all memories to me. That’s what life is about, right? Making memories!

To make it a memory that won’t be forgotten anytime soon. Someone’s wedding day is a magical day in their lives, and it’s my job to keep the magic alive as long as I can.

To be honest, all of it. I really vibe with a party atmosphere, so it’s a win-win situation to be able to be in it AND get paid to do so!

A couple’s first dance. It’s an emotional and wonderful moment that they’re going to remember for the rest of their lives. Call me touchy feely, but it’s really something that tugs at the heartstrings.

“Mr. Brightside” – The Killers. It’s a classic song that everyone knows. It’s a great song to dance to and to get the crowd going singing along. It’s one that everyone remembers hitting the charts from their teen and college years, it’s like a bungee cord that springs you back to the moment you first heard it.

I have a genuine passion for music and I love the power it has to evoke emotions and reactions. Playing music and seeing how it connects with others, getting people on their feet and moving, is what truly fuels my love for being a DJ.

For me, the most touching moment of the night is the Father/Bride dance. Witnessing the heartfelt connection between them as they dance and share words is incredibly beautiful. It tugs at my heartstrings and reminds me of the power of love and family.

My ultimate party anthem has to be “Yeah!” by Usher. It’s one of those timeless tracks that seems to be universally loved and never fails to ignite the crowd’s excitement. Playing it always pumps up the energy and ensures everyone is on their feet.

1. How would you describe your personality?
I’m outgoing, creative, eccentric, and funny, but also have a nerdy, intellectual side. I’m a “chameleon” in terms of how I fit into different social situations and groups– I can find something to talk about with pretty much anyone.
2. What makes you unique as a DJ?
A friend once told me that every time he hangs out with me, he “learns about a new genre of music”, and I thought that was the best compliment! Over the past decade, I’ve felt equally at home designing Victorian costumes for opera singers in NYC and getting in the mosh pit at punk shows. Music and dance is a universal language to me. In 2019, I attended a wedding where most of the guests only spoke Farsi, but I knew enough traditional Persian dance moves to fit right in and bond with people!
3. Why do you enjoy working at Complete Weddings and Events?
I enjoy the theatricality of combining music, lighting, and MCing to create an interactive show of sorts! There’s a very positive vibe to everything Complete Weddings and Events does, and it attracts people with fun personalities!
4. What is the best part of DJing a wedding?
The first dance for the newly married couple– each one is unique, personal, and an emotional experience. It encapsulates a major life transition in a beautifully symbolic way.
5. What is your favorite part of the night?
When I can tell that the couple is relaxed and having a blast with their guests! I love when people are singing along with the music, dancing like no one’s watching, and having zero inhibitions.
6. What is your favorite song to play at events?
“The Cupid Shuffle” because it always gets everyone to loosen up and have fun together!
How would you describe your personality?
If I had to describe myself with one word I’d probably have to say that “curious” fits me best. I’m always looking for something new to learn, or obsessing over one of the several hobbies (usually tech-related) that I dabble in when the others get too frustrating. In between those, I tend to be pretty laid back (ie: “Lazy”) and open to new ideas when it comes to most things! However, if you get me talking about anything related to science or technology, you might regret asking “How’s that thing work?”.
What makes you unique as a DJ?
I think my strength as both a DJ and musician is my ability to improvise and quickly adapt to unexpected challenges.
The inevitable moment when 200 emotional (and often inebriated) people end up in the same room as their relatives is bound to stir some chaos, and I take pride in knowing that in the case of a plan being undone I am able to keep things moving smoothly.
This trait, combined with years of solo performing as a guitarist, also makes me good at reading a crowd and recognizing when things need to be mixed up!
Why do you enjoy working at Complete Weddings + Events?
Music has always been one of the biggest influences in my life. I’ve performed for fun and pay as a solo guitarist for ten years, however, I had never stepped into the role of a DJ until I was hired by Complete. The role was a perfect fit, and has served to deepen my love for all things musical by opening new creative doors for me to explore.
Beyond that, the opportunity to play a central role in the organization of a day they have waited a lifetime building toward is incredibly humbling. There’s nothing quite like seeing an entire family come together and experience a milestone celebration like a wedding: you literally are witnessing a part of that family’s history!
What is the best part about DJing at weddings?
The people! Having the opportunity to meet and interact with so many different people in one night is always what leaves me wanting more. Whether it’s taking requests, watching two families bond through music, or executing a flawless 3 hour setlist, the entire experience is ultimately about the people I’m pointing the speakers at!
What is your #1 goal at an event?
My goal is to make every dance a cherished memory for the rest of your life. I want every guest to leave having had an amazing time.
Everything went amazing! From having to reschedule multiple times to being behind for pictures on my wedding day every one rolled with the punches and made my day amazing. Both my DJ Matt and my photographer Erica were amazing. They both are great at what they do and made my day amazing! I would 100% recommend them to anyone.

We were so happy with both guys that helped us with our Winter Party. Noah the DJ was amazing, I loved that he got out on the dance floor to get people to join him in the line dancing. It worked out awesome, he filled the dance floor with people. He played the music the people liked and kept the dance floor busy all night!!! We even had employees putting together money to try to have Noah stay longer and play because they were having such a great time!! Tim who took care of our photo booth was super great also. He set up and we didn't have a whole lot of room where we initially planed to have it, so we had to have him move to another area. He was so great about it, he helped us find another place that would work way better. He was so patient with everyone and made it a fun experience. Complete Weddings was the easiest vendor for my husband and I to work with when planning our wedding! We live abroad but had our wedding near my hometown in Iowa, so the online forms we had to fill out with what we wanted for our ceremony and reception and the ease we had communicating with everyone at Complete was greatly appreciated! Especially big praise goes to our DJ, Noah, who met with us before the wedding to get to know us and discuss exactly what we wanted for the wedding. At the wedding itself, he kept the party lively, played songs we requested right away and did not play songs on our do not play list. He also checked in with my husband and I throughout the night if we needed something for the dance and was a great announcer for the wedding.
