Looking for the perfect space to host your next event? Then you MUST check out The Old Glass Place! Located in downtown Springfield, Missouri. The Old Glass Place is filled with history and has the perfect balance of industrial, modern and rustic charm! The original structure was built in 1908 as an old Bingswagner Glass warehouse. In 2012, the building was bought by Al Miller and his partner Roger Malarkey. They dreamed of transforming it into a multipurpose event space. The building had great bones but needed some polishing. They restored the brick walls by removing the layers of paint to return them to their original beauty. You will also notice the preserved wood and glass details throughout the main event space. After the 14-month renovation, The Old Glass Place officially opened to the public in 2014.

One thing that sets this particular venue apart from others is the vast size! The venue has over 12,000 square feet of total rental space that includes the front area with a full-service bar, an entertainment lounge, dressing rooms, restrooms, an outside patio and a 3000 square feet main event space. The venue can hold up to 551 people for a concert typesetting, or up to 350 for seated events, such as weddings and banquets. They offer several different amenities, including tables, chairs, theatrical lighting, concert sound system, a video wall, a top-shelf bar, and staging! Between the versatility of the amenities and the size, it makes it the perfect venue to host events like weddings, concerts, corporate events, banquets, fundraisers, school dances and theater productions. Roger, the venue manager, always likes to say, “If you need a place to bring up to 551 of your closest friends for a party, we are the place!”
