Memorable Moment in the Wedding Industry \u2013 There are so many memories coming back to me from my 6+ years as a DJ. The one that stands out the most to me though, is a little bit of a horror story. You see, I ended up putting the wrong address in my GPS and I did not realize until I was 45 miles past where I needed to go. Immediately, I called the Maid of Honor and explained that I messed up and would really be pushing our start time for the ceremony. She calmly said, \u201cno worries, she honestly doesn\u2019t know you\u2019re doing the ceremony, it was supposed to be a surprise. I\u2019ll play it off you just make sure you\u2019re set up and ready for the reception\u201d.<\/p>\n
I rushed there and was able to get set up and ready before the ceremony finished, and without being seen! The Maid of Honor was my hero that night, as the Bride had no idea that I was supposed to be doing the ceremony at all. To make a long story somewhat short, I was able to still DJ and rock out the dance that night. I later found out that the MOH had just recently been engaged and was looking for services. She praised me left and right for being able to handle the situation well, and for throwing a kick-ass party. Needless to say, she ended up requesting me to DJ her wedding and I received two perfect reviews; largely due to her.<\/p>\n
